But in the case of RDNA3, the 7900XTX is definitely going all out. ![]() Nvidia is many times the size of AMD, has much higher R&D budgets and tons more staff, and AMD thus has to pick their battles and look for alternative approaches - which means they rarely have a 1:1 competitor to every Nvidia option out there, but on the other hand innovate a lot to keep up with less rresources. Click to expand.I think it's very strange to say AMD aren't "going all in" - they just launched a $1000 flagship GPU for crying out loud, one that promises massive performance gains over their previous one, and one that uses a brand new packaging tech that has never been seen before in consumer GPUs.
